FAQs

  • My rate per 50-minute counselling session is £75– this may be reviewed annually. I accept payment via bank transfer.

  • This depends of course on what you would like to work on. I generally offer a course of twelve sessions. Towards the end of the sessions, we can review whether you would like to commit to more long-term work. You will often feel changes in your life after the course of twelve sessions and it can be helpful to then take some time to digest and integrate those into your life.

  • I currently offer most sessions online via Zoom or Skype. I have a limited number of outdoor session spaces. If you feel you would benefit from having your sessions outdoors in the Brighton area then get in touch. Many people feel they benefit from moving and being in nature whilst having therapy.

  • Only a qualified health professional, usually a Psychiatrist, can diagnose ADHD. To obtain a diagnosis via the NHS, you would usually need to contact your GP in the first instance. You can sometimes speed up the process by exercising your NHS Right to Choose. There are also private options. ADHD UK provides a good overview which you can find here: https://adhduk.co.uk/diagnosis-pathways/

I can support you in navigating the diagnostic process and help you explore which option is right for you.
